Every collection cycle each agent runs, when it last ran and how it went. Turning one off stops that agent collecting it, and the check keeps its history so you can still see why it was switched off.
If the panel is unreachable, an agent keeps running whatever it last knew. An agent that stopped collecting because it could not ask permission would go quiet exactly when the panel needed it most.

About background jobs
Nothing else watches these, so each records when it last started, whether it finished cleanly and what went wrong if not. One that has not started for more than three of its own intervals is flagged, because a loop that has died says nothing at all.
